The Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum is an excellent outing for Utah families. Kids of all ages will enjoy the daily live animal shows and other exhibits. The best part, admission is free. The Bean Museum offers the following:
- Daily Live Animal Shows
- Plant, animal, and reptile exhibits
- Enclosed play area for smaller children
- Saturday Safari for ages 5-12 (Fee Required – $12.00 per child)

My family really enjoyed our visit. The lion exhibit animals are close to the ground, my daughter stayed close as we ventured through this area. She wasn’t quite sure about the kitty’s. We didn’t participate in a “Saturday Safari” but we did see groups of kids being directed by staff members, our children were under the age limit or they might have tagged along.
